What if I need a prescription?
We are able to dispense to all patients living more than 1 mile from the centre of Downham. Patients living within 1 mile of the centre need to take their prescriptions to a local chemist. We stock most common medication and are able to obtain other medication within 24 hours.
How do I get a prescription?
Repeat prescriptions are requested by ticking the desired medication on the part of the prescription print out. This should be placed in the red box in the foyer, handed in at the dispensary, posted or faxed to the surgery. Except for exceptional cases we do not accept telephone requests because errors are more likely.

Prescriptions can be sent to the chemist of your choice by prior arrangement.
